Ana Hušman i Marko Tadić 15. – 28. svibnja, u Galeriji Studentskog centra u Zagrebu

Videofragmenti Ane Hušman i film Marka Tadića – refleksije o procesima spoznavanja i konstrukcijama smisla, o postajanjima i nestajanjima – dodiruju se u predodžbi razglednice.
generira motive s dobro poznatih razglednica. I pritom se ne radi o ekfrazi. (iz predgovora Leonide Kovač)

Tireless Refrain – 2013-02-07 ~ 2013-06-16, Nam June Paik Art Center

Artist / Beom Kim(Korea), Mixrice(Korea), Sanghee Song(Korea), Santiage Sierra(Spain), Francis Alÿs(Belgium), Melik Ohanian(France), Soosung Lee(Korea), Wan Lee (Korea), Nadia Kaabi-Linke(Tunisia), Ana Hušman(Croatia)

A refrain is a repeated phrase inserted throughout a song or poem, which is less to do with conveying a central theme directly, but more to do with creating an image through repetition. The recurring verse is, however, meant not only to give a formal pleasure or to complement the content, but also to reveal the most political intention in the most artistic way, as in a Greek tragedy whose chorus speaks for the audience or produces a satire on characters. The title ‘Tireless Refrain’ is derived from the fact that the artist’s practice could be reminiscent of the role that the refrain plays in terms of generating politicalness simply through repetition. This exhibition aims to put together those works that seek to make a social critique by repeating and reiterating a specific act.

GOOD LIFE: oktobarski salon, Beograd, 22. 09. – 04. 11.

fizički narativi / prostorne imaginacije
Prostor: Bivša zgrada Geodetskog zavoda, Karađorđeva 48, Beograd, Kustosi: Branislav Dimitrijević i Mika Hannula

ROUNDTABLE : The 9th Gwangju Biennale

The Market at The 9th Gwangju Biennale. From September 7 – November 11.

While it operates simultaneously on many levels, one thing is quite clear: ROUNDTABLE, the 9th Gwangju Biennale, is not about unanimity. It is instead an open-ended series of collaborations that require active participation and individual responsibility, resulting in a multiplicity of voice, as well as opportunities for cross-contamination.
